Schooner Spirit of Independence

Spirit of Independence is a shipbuilder's masterpiece. Built to 1800's style hull and rigging, with exotic hardwood interior. The Spirit of Independence is an 80 foot William Garden design from the 1800's, modified by Charles Witholz to be built of modern materials. Her hull is steel, her main engine is John Deere, and her generator is Northern lights. All of her equipment is big ship quality not normally found in similar sized vessels.
Spirit was built to sail around the world. As a school ship, she gives a very stable, comfortable sail. She was built to luxury yacht standards.

Spirit Of Independence was built by master ship builder J. C. Waters She took 16 years to build in Independence Missouri She was built to the highest standards with no regard for expense. All systems are big ship Quality Launched in 2005 sailed Down the Missouri river, then Mississippi river then to her home in Key West
